Gold Australian Kangaroo Coin
The Australian Gold Kangaroo was introduced in 1986 as a .9999% fine bullion coin. Since 1989, each year, on the obverse, the kangaroo portrait is changed to keep the coin fresh and original. The reverse design portrays Queen Elizabeth II. This coin series was created by the Gold Corporation, which is wholly owned by the government of Western Australia.
