Comex gold slightly down in early U.S. trading on Wednesday morning. Gold last trading at $1,240.04 Silver last traded at $19.91 Platinum last traded at $1,462.50 and Palladium last traded at $748.50
Gold slightly down in early morning trading due to a stronger U.S. Dollar index and some overnight profit taking. Traders still see strong demand from China in overnight trading and expect this to continue over the next few weeks.
U.S. economic news out today will include the weekly Goldman Sachs and Johnson Redbook retail sales, the weekly mortgage applications survey, and the new housing manufactures survey.
